Dr. Virginia Allen, MD
Dermatologist
Dr. Virginia Allen, is a board certified dermatologist of the American Board of Dermatology, a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Chicago Dermatologic Society and the Illinois Dermatologic Society. Dr. Allen attended Loyola University of Chicago and graduated with a B.S. degree with the highest honors in 1983. She earned her M.D. degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in 1988. After completing an internship in Internal Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center, she completed her residency in Dermatology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania in 1992. There she served as Chief Resident in Dermatology before joining Dr. Edward J. Keuer, M.D. in private practice. Since that time, she has served as a consultant in Dermatology at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital and is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She also serves on the Medical Advisory Board for Naperville School District 203.
My Primary Areas of Interest
Dr. Allen’s areas of interest include pediatric and adult dermatology as well as aesthetic dermatology. Her areas of expertise include the injections of Botox and dermal fillers including Juvederm for rejuvenation of the face. She also performs sclerotherapy for the treatment of spider veins and laser therapy using IPL technology. Most importantly, she enjoys caring for patients with compassion and kindness and performs total skin examinations with diligence, screening for skin cancer and malignant melanoma.
Julie Jourdan, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Julie Jourdan, PA-C (Certified Physician Assistant), has a Masters of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Before beginning her education as a PA, she received an undergraduate degree in both Biology and Spanish from Elmhurst College. She graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors from Elmhurst College in 2001. Julie is a member of the following professional organizations: American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Illinois Association of Physician Assistants (IAPA), and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). She is fluent in Spanish, and has studied abroad in Spain, Ecuador, and in the Dominican Republic where she has worked in medical missions.
My Primary Areas of Interest
Julie’s areas of interest include adult, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology. Julie has completed additional training for Botox injections. She also enjoys working closely with physicians to provide the highest quality dermatologic care for patients of all ages. Julie joined Dermatology Associates of Oakbrook Terrace in January 2009.
Jessica Ferraro, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Jessica Ferraro, PA-C is a board certified physician assistant with a Masters of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana for undergraduate school, where she majored in molecular and cell biology, and minored in chemistry and anthropology. She was a James Scholar and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015. Jessica has prior experience as an otolaryngology physician assistant in both inpatient and outpatient settings before joining our practice in 2021. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
My Primary Areas of Interest
Jessica provides care to both pediatric and adult populations, with a special interest in acne, rosacea, cosmetic dermatology, and treatment of skin cancer.
Lisa Jesiolowski
Certified Medical Aesthetician & Laser Specialist
Lisa Jesiolowski is a Certified Medical Aesthetician and Laser Specialist with nearly two decades of experience in aesthetics, skincare, and patient care. She has extensive experience working alongside dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and medical professionals, providing personalized treatments and skincare plans tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
Lisa specializes in advanced aesthetic treatments including laser and light-based therapies, IPL, laser hair reduction, microneedling, skin resurfacing, chemical peels, and customized skincare. She is passionate about educating patients and helping them feel confident in their skin through thoughtful, individualized care.
My Primary Areas of Interest
Lisa enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, and discovering new restaurants. She loves trying new experiences, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends.
